A Stone Colonial, Roughed-In
A 5,200 sqft Stone Colonial on a 1.4-acre Riverside parcel. Two zones of recirculation, three water-treatment installations, twenty-eight fixture rough-ins.
A 1928 Master Bath, Refreshed
A polished-nickel Waterworks installation set into a Calacatta marble vanity, with copper-line replacement carried back through the second-floor chase.
A Contemporary, From the Ground Up
An 8,400 sqft contemporary custom build with full Procore integration through rough-in, trim, and final. Master Plumber on every visit by contract.
Five practices, deeply held.

Daniel Vail is the grandson of the firm's founder, Howard Ashcroft, and a CT P-1 Master Plumber (#B-7842). He took over from his father, Robert Vail, in 2009. Daniel personally inspects every residential rough-in over eight thousand square feet and signs off on every whole-home repipe. He sits on the board of the Greenwich Historical Society.
Helena Park joined the firm in 2011 as VP of Operations after eleven years in residential-services operations in Westchester. She was named President in 2021 — the first non-family executive in the firm's sixty-four-year history. Greenwich Time covered her appointment that October.
Howard Ashcroft founded the firm in 1962 with a single Chevrolet pickup and a single principle: a master plumber on every rough-in, no exceptions. His grandson and his president still run the firm on that principle. Their daughter Susanna, a freshman at Penn, has expressed an interest in returning.

Three locations serve a defined Fairfield County and Westchester County footprint. We do not subcontract outside it and we do not promise response times in towns we do not staff.
A plumbing sub-contractor that does not need to be managed.
Forty percent of our annual revenue is new-construction work for fourteen active builder relationships in Fairfield County and Westchester. We have run Procore connectors since 2019, mirroring change orders, RFI responses, and field-report uploads directly into your project workspace.
A Master Plumber inspects every rough-in over eight thousand square feet — every project, every visit, by contract. The Greenwich Building Department's pre-clearance program lets us walk drawings before stamp for our regular builders.
Builder & architect resources →They held our schedule on a project that lost two other trades to weather. The repipe finished the week they promised, and the patch-back was invisible.

The only sub I have ever specified by name in a contract. The master plumber shows up to every rough-in. That alone is worth the price.

Procore was wired up before the foundation was poured. Their change orders arrived in the right format, on time, and within scope. Twice.
